Xiwa Marine takes workplace safety seriously and expects its employees to do the same. It is important for employees to attend site induction courses, familiarize themselves with emergency procedures, and report any potential hazards. We strive to eliminate hazards and comply with OH&S legal requirements to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our workplace.

 

 

Our Health and Safety Policy

  1. The responsibilities of Xiwa Marine and those of its employees.
  2. Employee’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with fire precautions, fire drill, assembly points and the location of telephones to contact the emergency services at each working site.
  3. The importance of attending site induction courses.
  4. Employee responsibility to ensure they are aware of the location of the accident book, first aid boxes and of who the named first aider is on site.
  5. Employee compliance with emergency regulations in force on site.
  6. We shall identify, assess and strive to eliminate hazards to all in our workplace including our employees, subcontractors & visitors.
  7. Employee’s duty to notify employer or site supervisor of any potential risk or hazard.
  8. We will take every effort to comply with relevant OH&S legal and other requirements.
  9. Employee’s awareness of responsibility with regard to the health and safety of themselves and others working around them.
